In 1924 the Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home was founded in Riverhead, NY. Following in his grandfather's and father Fred's footsteps, Dean A. Alexander continue to provide service to the surrounding community. In 1979, the service area was expanded to include Wading River and the surrounding communities when the Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home opened its doors in Wading River.

Traditions of care, understanding and professionalism are reflected in our Alexander family and staff. We take pride in the fact that the high standards and quality services, which are the cornerstones upon which the family business was built, are still being upheld today. Funeral Directors William J. Koch, Barbara Copeland and Anthony Caratozzolo complete the professional staff, along with support from Jean Zahra, their assistant.

Our entire staff prides itself on community service by being involved in many local activities such as Rotary International, Lions, Knights of Columbus, as well as belonging to various local churches. An annual Holiday Bereavement Program and an Adopt-a-Highwway program are additional services offered to make ours a better community.

Our funeral home maintains staff, equipment and facilities available to respond to family needs seven days a week. Services to accommodate any religious denomination for burial or cremation ceremonies are provided by the home with "dignity and compassion." A complete pre-arrangement service is also available.
